Probate cases
Galut Ltd. deals with searching for people whose relatives have emigrated from historical Hungary.
It is statutorily required to conduct probate research in cases where someone dies without descendants and a legal will.
With the knowledge of the particular country's legal system we identify the relatives of the deceased who are entitled to inherit. We will also collect documentary evidence and have it translated if so required.
Our probate partners are mainly foreign research companies. However, in order to represent an individual case, we have built business contacts with several Hungarian and foreign law firms.
