2. Services:

3. Costs and Fees:

The costs and fees of research have to be agreed on in each case following a detailed account of your needs and an estimate quoted by ourselves. Our general costs and fees can be seen under Prices. We reserve the right to revise our fees when giving reasonable advance notice.


4. Contract:

Upon accepting the quote given the contract becomes effective. By filling in the Order Form you accept our terms of service.


5. Length of research:

After receiving the deposit we begin research required. The expected duration of research is indicated in our quote provided in advance.


6. Cancellation:

Orders may be cancelled without financial consequences prior to advance payment following a maximum of the eight working days of signing, as stipulated in § 4 of government order 17/1999. If such cancellation takes place after deposit payment, a written cancellation is required. In such a case we reserve the right to charge all the expenses incurred up to the cancellation.


7. Complaint:

After we have completed research you are welcome to comment on our service. We reserve the right judge the validity of possible concerns of deficient research results. As genealogical research relies on old documents success cannot be guaranteed in every case. In the event of a genuine complaint we will make up for any deficiency.


8. Information treatment:

All of your personal details and research information revealed will be handled and stored in strict confidentiality. We will not disclose to third parties any information without your prior written consent, unless so required by law.
