Family tree research
We undertake genealogical research in the territory of historical Hungary. Our research concentrates of documents stored in the archives of the target area, libraries and cemeteries. Our primary, and therefore our essential source of information is a variety of records and census statistics. When wishing to supplement/replace these sources we rely on information in obituaries, newspapers of the period along with local history literature.
In the course of our research we move back in time and look for your very first ancestor available from the documents. Then we generate your family tree from your ancestral forefather to you. We conduct research most usually on the name-bearing line, however, upon request, we are prepared to extend our research on the lateral lines as well.
